Nice Modern Bunk Beds

Modern bunk beds – When two children have to share a bedroom, one of the most wanted sleeping arrangements is a bunk bed structure. This option gives children the most floor space while giving them all with their own surface to sleep. Bunk beds also provide room for guests to sleep. Building a set of bunk beds can save hundreds of dollars compared to the price to buy a brand new set.

Instructions

Cut the forest for modern bunk beds. You need two 12-inch sections of four at-fours, twenty sections of two and four measuring 39-inches in length, and four sections of two and four that measure 80-inches long for the pages. Cut eight more two and four feet that measure 36-inches for the best-floor legs. Cut two sections of plywood measuring 39-inches wide and 77-inches long. Cut out the steps. Cut two out of four in half vertically to create 1-inch with 1-inch thick ladder pages each 50-inch long.

Mount the bottom modern bunk beds frame. Choose two of the 80-inch two and four for the sides, and two of the 39-inch plywood sections for the head and foot of the frame. Place the sides on a flat surface, and align the wooden pieces at the head and foot of the frame to the inner edges of the side pieces, and screw them into place with two screws in each corner. Place the slats in the bed frame. Lay the slats flat in the frame and screw one along the upper and lower frame boards with two screws at each end, and six even-space screws go directly into the sides of the slats. Equally, the eight remaining slats space in the base of the frame structure, running from the top to the bottom of the frame, reinforces them with two screws at each end.
